Political season is nauseating for many of us. The endless commercials, the lies and dis-information, but mostly I hate it when candidates are ingenuine.

Take Chris Ward, for example. An openly gay man running in California’s 78th Assembly District. He should know what oppression is and remember the voiceless.

We are not asking, nor are we expecting anything except an acknowledgement.

Dear Mr. Ward – there are a lot of ferret owners in your district, would you talk to us?

Countless emails not answered. A phone call not returned. We get the message.

You really don’t care. And that makes you a phony. You’re running for office to gather political power. You are the insider candidate in this district. You are about to join an exclusive club, full of benefits. 

And you not only forgot the little people, you won’t even acknowledge us.
