3000 Club Membership

When we started LegalizeFerrets it was our that a ballot initiative was the best way to advance ferret legalization. Actually, our goal was to get to 90,000 signatures, 1/4 of the number needed to put it on the ballot, which would trigger a legislative hearing. We made it to 10,000 signatures.

If 3000 people joined the 3000 club, hence the name, we would file the initiative.  2015 was an opportunity for us because the requirement was so low as it is based on how many people voted the election before.

We actually grew the organization considerably in 2015 and we want to keep the opportunity to join the 3ooo Club open.
