If we had more people like Brian Jones in the legislature this wouldn’t be a problem. I have worked his poor office plenty; asking to introduce a ferret legalization bill and then explain if domestic animals are really legal per our state constitution.

My personal feeling is that Senator Atkins is partially sympathetic to us but ferrets are not something she wishes to stick her neck out on.

Senator Hueso was interested in our cause one time. When he was angry with the Chair of the Fish and Game Commission for posing with a dead mountain lion in Idaho. But after that blew over he told us to work directly with the Fish and Game Commission, and not the legislature.
